The track in question was unique since based on her interview with Rap-Up many listeners related to her journey of doubting herself and learning how to accept herself. Cara's music is known to include messages of kindness self-love, self-love and mental wellness. Her music is an expression of her personal struggle in dealing with anxiety and depression. According to a Reuters interview, she describes her album as half tumultuous and half complete. She tells people that she found her growth during therapy. Alessia Cara was born to Italian parents on July 11th, 1996. Her first guitar was purchased from her parents at the time she was 10 years old, which sparked her passion for music. A few years later, at the age of 13 she began performing her favourite songs through YouTube one of the biggest media platforms in order to demonstrate to the world that she was talented and courage to become a singer.
