Cara has a reputation for her messages on emotional health, kindness, and self-love in her music. The music that she has written is derived from her own struggle to conquer mental health issues as well as insomnia. In a Reuters' interview, she's described her album as half-tumultuous and half-perfected. She claims she has grown through therapy and she encourages anyone else to seek out assistance when needed.
