Simone Biles

Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 in Columbus Ohio U.S.) is considered to be one of the top athletes in sports. She was the first American female gymnast to ever win four gold medals during a single Games. In Rio de Janeiro, she also became the first woman to have won consecutive World All-Around titles. Biles and their younger sibling Adria, who were adopted by Ronald Biles as well as Nellie Biles their grandparents in Spring Texas (in the Houston region) and grew up in the Houston area. Simone began to take an interest in gymnastics as an infant on a field trip to school at Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach over the next 11 years. Biles took home a gold medal for floor exercise and a bronze in vault at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010 before breaking into the top level of gymnastics in the year the year 2011. A year later Biles was the king of the field. What stood Biles apart was the consistency of her fun-loving personality, and the high degree of difficulty she incorporated into her routines throughout the four events she competed in: vault uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercises.
