Lindsey Vonn (born 18 Oct 1984) is a retired American alpine skiing champion who took home silver in the downhill section of the Winter Olympics 2010. Her second most Super Score among skiers both female and male. She is the most famous and one of America's best-loved skiers. She is the only six female athletes to win every event of the World Cup circuit. Overall, she has earned more than the 82 World Cup titles. The best skier on the planet and the most successful American racer in the sport of skiing have announced their retirement after the World Championship in Sweden. Following a string of illnesses, the multiple World Cup champion has decided to retire. The social media star used her platform to announce her decision to retire.
