Lindsey Vonn, an American athlete born on the 18th of October 1984, won the gold medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics in the downhill ski race. Vonn is ranked second in the world of skiers, male and female in terms of the highest scores. She's one of the top skiers in the world and also is the most popular american skier. Caroline Vonn, a World Cup winning alpine skier from the United States who goes by the name Lindsey Vonn represents the US Ski Team. She has taken home the overall World Cup competition four times. She's one of the most famous athletes within American History. She is only one of six women who have been crowned at every single event on the World Cup circuit. The American has racked up an impressive 82 World Cup victories in total. Following the World Championships held in Sweden one of the top and most skilled ski racers from America is set to retire. The onset of a series of health issues led the Four-time World Cup Overall Champion to make the decision to retire. Four-time World Cup overall champion has announced her retirement on social networks. Next week I'll compete in my last races during my racing career.
