Only six women have won all five World Cup alpine ski events. She was the winner of 82 World Cups. The top skier of all time, and most successful American racer in the sport of skiing have announced their retirements following this year's World Championship in Sweden. After battling a number of illnesses, the three-time World Cup champion has decided to take a break. She announced her retirement on social media. My final race of my racing career will take place on the island of Re Sweden next week, at the Downhill World Championships as well as the SG World Championships.
