Lindsey Vonn (born 18 Oct 1984) is a retired American alpine ski champion who took home gold in downhill at the Winter Olympics 2010. Vonn has the second-highest overall score of all skiers, male and female. She's one of the most skilled skiers ever as well as the most adored skier from America. United States. Caroline Vonn who is also known as Lindsey Vonn and competes as an Olympic skier with The US Ski Team. She has won four times crowned the winner of the World Cup overall competition. The athlete who has earned an impact within American popular culture. There are only six females who have won the five World Cup alpine ski events. All told, she has been awarded the prestigious 82 World Cup championships. Following the World Championships held in Sweden, one of the best and most accomplished American ski racers will retire. Four-time World Cup winner decided to quit after suffering from several illnesses. Her retirement was announced via social media.
