Lindsey Vonn (born 18 Oct 1984) is an ex-retired American alpine skiing champion who won gold in the downhill event at the Winter Olympics in 2010. She has the second highest overall score of all skiers, female and male. She's one of the most famous and most adored skiers in history. Caroline Vonn who is also called Lindsey Vonn and competes as a World Cup skier for the US Ski Team. She has won 4 World Cups. She is a renowned and long-running tradition with American sports. She is the just six women to won all five skiing alpine World Cup events. She won the World Cup 82 times. World-class athlete and one of America's most successful ski racers have taken a decision to step down following the World Championships that take place in Sweden. Following a string of illnesses and injuries, the four-time World Cup champion has decided to retire. She announced her retirement on social media. Next week, I will be racing in my last races in my professional career at the Downhill World Championships as also in the SG World Championships held in Re Sweden.
