Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe was raised by a mixed ethnic family. She is English as well as her father was Nigerian. Her family was lived in a housing estate run by the council south of London. In the ages of 14she enrolled in The Brit School. It was the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art was where she received the BA in acting. While attending the school was when she performed in various stage plays, including the King Henry V as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began her career as an actress with the film Storm Damage. Since then, she has made guest appearances on Teachers, Doctors, Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film role was Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), opposite Colin Farrell. In the wake of that film's success she was cast as Elisha in the single-episode BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN which aired in 2007 and she also appeared in six episodes of Trexx and Flipside in the role of Ollie. In 2008, she was offered the Bambi part on the ITV2 Drama The Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Secret Diary of a Call Girl. The actress was on two series, 2 and 3. Madekwe was a part of the comedy film How to Lose Friends & Affect People. The credits on stage for Madekwe are Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe officially made her US debut on The Beautiful Life in 2009. The show aired just two episodes at The CW, and was eventually removed from the air. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge from February 2011. Madekwe's exit from the series was officially announced in May of 2013. After a period of two years as the main character she made a guest performance in the first episode of season three. From 2014-2016, Madekwe starred in the role of Tituba in the TV series Salem. Madekwe was married to her long-time love, Iddo. Both of them have been in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also starred together in Salem.
Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with an extended family. Ashley Leggat was born to Roy and Patty along with her three older siblings - Brett, Todd and Bram as well as Rob. All of her brothers were athletic, and they played baseball as well as hockey in the winter and summer months. They grew up playing the arenas and baseball. Ashley did not have the ability to walk, but she danced. At the age of two, she took up Baby Ballet and fell in the love. Ashley discovered her love for dancing at the age of. Ashley competed in top-level divisions for jazz, tap hip hop, ballet the lyrical musical theatre, acrobatics as well as pointe until the time she completed in high school.
