Angela Gossow Urach

Angela Gossow grew up in Cologne along with her three siblings. She was 17 when her parents split up. As their business fell apart and she was left with financial issues. The problem was made worse due to being bulimic or anorexic. Gossow's response to her decision to not continue as the singer of the band ARCH ENEMY was straightforward: There is a proper and incorrect time for everything. The first time I began was in the year 1991. It was no longer fun to travel around the world. It was more convenient to stop than to continue doing what I was told to do. The frontman from the beginning of the group Johan Liiva was replaced in 2000 by German singer Angela Gossow. In 1986, the Australian musician John Farnham recorded the song "You're The Voice". It was an instant hit both in Australia as well as in a number of European countries including Ireland as well as the UK.
