Andrea Maria Jeremiah has worked as an actress as well as a musician, playback singer and actress for Tamil films as well as Malayalam film. Annayum Raolum is her Malayalam as well as Tamil debut. She debuted in Tamil in the film with Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea Jeremiah is born into an Anglo-Indian family living in the Arakkonam region of the capital of Tamil Nadu.Andrea's father works as a solicitor in the Madras High Court. There is also an older sister currently employed as a research assistant in Leuven Belgium. Jeremiah lived close to Chennai, went to National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. Jeremiah has stated that she was a geek and wanted to be psychiatrist when she passed her 12th board exams.Andrea began studying classical piano at the age of eight. When she was 10, she was a part of a Jackson Five-style troupe called Young Stars which formed the base of her early singing and music composing career. She also worked as an actress in her college. The president was of the the Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea's acting career began with Girishkarnad Nagamandala. Andrea was in a new Leo coffee advertisement alongside the actor Shiva in 2006. She has also acted in a TV show which was telecast on Podhigai. She performed throughout India. She was briefly featured in Kanda Mudhal's finale (2005). When she sang a tune for Gautham Vasudev Menon's Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu he asked her to play as the main female characters in his upcoming project Pachaikili Muthucharam. The film was an adaptation of the novel by James Siegel Derailed. It featured Andrea portraying Kalyani an aspiring homemaker, whose husband engages in an affair and is threatened with blackmail. Andrea was chosen for the part following the actresses Simran Tabu and Tabu were offered the role. The film was first released in 2010. Her minor role was accepted in Venkat's Mankatha in the year 2011, which starred a number of actors. Annayum Rasoolum is a romantic movie directed by Rajeeev Ravi, that was released in 2013, marked her Malayalam debut.
